Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the signal without distortion at the output of an amplifier, by inputting an input signal to the amplifier after distorting it with opposite characteristics as those of the amplifier. CONSTITUTION:The 1st function generator 202 in which the signal A(t) obtained from an input signal through envelope detection is input, produces a signal F[A(t)]. The 2nd function generator 204 to which A(t) is input, produces the signal g[A (t)]. F[A(t)] modulates the original input signal at a multiplier 205 and gives an effect to the amplitude characteristics. The g[A(t)] modulates the output signal of the multiplier 205 at a phase modulator 206 and gives the phase characteristics. The distortion included in the output signal of the amplifier can be avoided by adjusting the effect to the amplitude and phase characteristics so that the characteristics of the subsequent amplifiers can be compensated.
