Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify the initial setting of the spring of a potentiometer driving apparatus by providing a pulley which is provided on a potentiometer slide-piece driving shaft and can be secured to the shaft at an arbitrary angle, and a spring box containing a spring attached to the pulley and the spring box so as to be able to rotate concentrically with the rotating shaft as well as to be secured to the bracket.
CONSTITUTION: A potentiometer 1 and a flange 2 are secured by using screws, and the flange 2 is secured between a flange 3 and a potentiometer holder 10 by using bolts. A pulley 6 on which a wire 5 has been wound is secured to a shaft 9 by using a bolt 8. The end of the shaft 9, in which a turn-stopping slit has been made, is supported by a ball bearing. The outer end of a spring 13 in a spring box 11 having the ball bearing is secured to the spring box 11 by using a pin 14, and the inner end to the pulley 6 by using a pin 15. A needed quantity of the wire 5 is wound on the pulley 6, and the other end of the wire 5 is secured to the driving part. The bolts fastening a holding plate 12 are loosened, and the spring box 11 is turned to wind the spring 13 before being secured. This permits the initial setting of the spring 13 to be simplified.
