Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform an accurate flow-rate control without causing the fall of the flow rate independently of the amount of the filter pressure loss by providing a sampling gas flow rate controller.
CONSTITUTION: A control system for the sampling gas flow rate comprises buffer tanks 23a and 23b to reduce the pulsation of a suction pump 16, an flow-measuring orifice 22 provided on the downstream side of the suction pump 16, and the like, by which the sampling gas flow rate at an almost atmospheric pressure is measured. When the sampling gas flow rate is smaller than the setting value, a flow-regulating valve 21 is driven to the flow increase side; in the reverse case, the valve 21 is driven to the flow decrease side to control the flow rate so that the sampling gas flow rate corresponding to the setting signal voltage. Because the flow rate is measured on the downstream side of the suction pump 16 under an almost atmospheric pressure, an accurate flow-rate control can be performed independently of the filter pressure loss.
