Abstract

PURPOSE: To easily perform the change-over operation of a fuel feed state in an engine from gasoline to liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), by interposing an intermediate member having the opening of an LPG injection port between a main body and throlltle body of an ordinary carburetor for gasoline use.
CONSTITUTION: A main body 1 and throttle body 2 of a conventional carburetor are separated simultaneously to between both bodies an intermediate member 3 having primary and secondary side intake air passages 5, 5' is newly inserted and the three of them in the above are integrally screwed. The insertion of the intermediate member 3, in which a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) injection port not shown in the drawing is provided, function as a carburetor for LPG use.
