Abstract

PURPOSE:To readily form a cobalt chrome magnetic film having magnetic anisotropy vertical to the surface of the film in a tape shape by forming zinc coating oriented vertically to the surface of the film beforehand at a c axis and then forming the cobalt chrome alloy thin film. CONSTITUTION:After forming a substance having hexagonal crystal structure so that the c axis of the substance is oriented vertical to the surface of a substrate, a cobalt chrome alloy thin film is formed on the coating of the substance having the hexagonal crystal structure, and a magnetic anisotropy is incorporated vertically to the surface of the substrate. The substance may, for example, include zinc, titanium, magnesium, cadmium, ruthemium, yttrium, scandium and so forth.
