Abstract
PURPOSE: To continuously and automatically recover trash from waste liquid so as to allow an easy post-treatment by a method wherein folding parts and fixing parts are used to form a filter sheet into a cylinder at the opening of the waste-discharge pipe, and the liquid is filtered while this cylinder is being pressed flat and pulled out of the liquid surface.
CONSTITUTION: Filter sheet 13 is pulled out of the reel 11, guided through the feeding guide 14 into the space between the folding parts 17, 17, then the sheet 13 is lifted at both edges along the discharge pipe 8 so as to wrap the surface of the pipe 8 and form a cylinder. The wrapping portion is passed through the receiving plate 28 and the fixing parts 29 so as to fix the edge portion, then passed under the direction- switching roll 34 and pulled upward, then passed through the take-out rolls 35, 36. This makes the sheet 13 into the cylinder a, into which waste liquid is discharged from the pipe 8 into the treating tank 1. As the cylinder a approaches the roll 34, it is squeezed and pressed flat by the rolls 34. At the time the cylinder a separates from the liquid surface, oils on the liquid surface deposits on it, then the liquid is separated by the rolls 35, 36, stacked on in the cage 2 in the chamber 3, and disposed of in a proper manner.
