Abstract

PURPOSE: To cut off an input automatically when dust collecting capacity is lowered by a method wherein a supply voltage to a cell and an ionizer is detected to be compared to the reference voltage and a circuit for generating a cutoff signal based on this output when within a set electric discharge interval is provided.
CONSTITUTION: A cutoff switch 71 of an AC power source is nomally closed and a supply voltage SV from a high voltage transformer 30 is supplied to a cell 10 and an ionizer 20. The lowering of this supply voltage is detected by a voltage detection circuit 40 and the detected output is campared to the reference voltage RV by a voltage comparision circuit 50. If this detected output is lower than the reference voltage RV, an operation signal RT is generated to operate an electric discharge setting circuit 60. When this output is lower than a set electric discharge interval, a cutoff signal CF is generated to operate an input cutoff holding circuit 70 and to open the cutoff switch 71 and the voltage supply to the cell 10 and the inonizer 20 is cut off. Thereby, fire in the dust collector is prevented.
