Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare the titled slide material suitable for a bearing or the like by melting and depositing a thermoplastic synthetic resin powder containing a thermosetting polyimide resin powder, a ethylene tetrafluoride resin and a lubricating oil agent respectively in a predetermined ratio on a backing metal.
CONSTITUTION: A mixture comprising 1.5W4wt% of a thermosetting polyimide resin powder passing about 200 mesh, 0.5W5wt% of an ethylene tetrafluoride resin, 2W15wt%, especially, 5W10wt% of a lubricating oil agent such as a mineral oil and a balance of a thermoplastic synthetic resin powder with a molding temp. 200W 280°C is prepared. Subsequently, a composition having powder fluidity obtained by mixing said mixture uniformly is supplied on a backing metal (e.g. a rolled steel plate for a general structure) and deposited by fusing at a temp. of 200W 2,800°C. A thickness of said fused resin layr is about 0.1W2.5mm. As a result, without applying pressing operation to a fused resin layer, a desired composite layered slide material can be prepared efficiently on a mass production scale.
