Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the hunting of a relay by connecting a rectifying element in series with an exciting coil of a solenoid relay having normally closed contact for shorting a part of a load winding and operated by a stator winding and in parallel with a capacitor. CONSTITUTION:When a rotor 4 is rotated, small amount of lead current Ic will flow in the capacitor-excitation winding 2 by the residual magnetic flux of the rotor 4. Thereafter, the lead current Ic will then increase gradually by the self- excitation effect thereby estabilishing a voltage. Since the part 1a of the load winding 1 is shorted with the normally closed contact 10 at the time of starting, a voltage is established at a relatively low rotating speed. After the voltage is established, the solenoid relay 9 is operated by the output of the load winding 1, and the contact 10 is opened. Even if the rotating speed is decelerated in no load state so that the voltage Ea is abruptly lowered, the charged voltage of the capacitor 13 is applied to the coil 11. Accordingly, the relay 9 is retained for a while in excited state.
