Abstract
PURPOSE:To maintain the characteristics of an electrical machine such as a transformer or the like at the time of shipment by shaping a coil by flowing a high current into the coil before shipping from a factory. CONSTITUTION:A process shaping a coil, for example, a high current, of twice or more of the rated current is flowed into the coil after assembling and testing a transformer and before shipping from a factory. Through this process, a part or all of coil deformation which may possibly be caused by accidents during transformer operation in the future is previously materialized at the time of shipment. And after the shaping process, many tests are performed as a product and the data obtained at the tests are regarded as formal ones. The transformers passed such the shaping process will minimize a variation in coil impedance even if a high current flows in a coil by the accidents during operation. In this way, the characteristics of an electrical machine such as a transformer or the like will be stabilized and maintained.
