Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent partial blur within an effective pattern by printing a dummy pattern in a blank part adjacent to fine lines whose width is 100μ or less.
CONSTITUTION: On the occasion that the printing pattern including fine lines whose width is 100μ or less is formed by an intaglio-plate offset printing method, the region 3 of the dummy pattern is provided in the blank part outside fine-line groups 1 and 2. The region 3 can be provided between the lines when the interval between the fine lines is wide. In addition, the shape of the dummy pattern can be optional since the pattern in itself is unrequired for the printing pattern. On the printing plate thus prepared, the state of ink and the condition of processing from inking to the transfer on to a blanket through doctoring turn to be similar to those in other places even on the outer edge of the fine-line groups, whereby the partial blur can be avoided.
