Abstract
PURPOSE: The waste of high-temperature coagulation bath solution is concentrated, separated into the solid and liquid parts and the liquid part is reused as the first coagulation bath solution, thus making it possible to recover zinc, sulfuric acid and sodium sulfate, solving the problems of pollution and lowering the production costs.
CONSTITUTION: A viscose dope is extruded into the first coagulation bath to form half regenerated fibers, which is sent to the second coagulation bath where the regeneration is completed to produce crimped viscose staple fibers wherein the waste of high-temperature coagulation solution is concentrated under vacuum, when necessary, cooled to crystallize out sodium sulfate, which is recovered. The mother liquor containing sulfuric acid and zinc sulfate is made to return back along with a make- up solution to the first coagulation bath for reuse.
