Abstract
PURPOSE: To inhibit an alarm sounding on a nonspecified day such as a holiday by a method wherein whether it is a set special day or not is discriminated and a transmission of an alarm signal is controlled.
CONSTITUTION: A counter 13 of a week day discrimination unit 12 generates a count output such as a 3 bit signal, etc. as a week day count in answer to a week day in accordance with an output of a divide-by-24 time counter 6, and this output signal enters NOR gates 14, 17 and the output of each of them is inverted into a high level or a low level on the speicified days or on the nonspecified days such as Saturday and Sunday, respectively. And further, the signal sets or resets a FF18 and a FF21 of an alarm signal selection unit 20. Accordingly, on the specified days, AND gates 22, 27 are opened by means of the outputs of the FF18, 19 which are set, and further, an alarm signal passing through an AND gate 10 is applied to an alarm system and on the nonspecified days, the gate 27 is also closed in answer to the close of AND gates 22, 24, thereby, inhibitting the sounding of an alarm sound. As a result thereof, an alarm sounding on holidays other than the specified established days can be inhibitted.
