Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare a pesticide composition for dispersing in water, dispersible stably even in water of wide hardness range, by adding an ion exchange zeolite as a dispersion stabilizing adjuvant to improve the effectibity of the dispersion stabilizer.
CONSTITUTION: At least a part of the inorganic carrier used in wettable powder and wettable granule, e.g. synthetic hydrated silicic acid, diatomaceous earth, etc. is replaced with an ion exchange zeolite which is a hydrated aluminum silicate containing alkali or alkaline earth metal and has high cation exchange cabaility and fine particle size. The silicate is compounded with an active component and a dispesion stabilizer (e.g., anionic surface active agent) by conventional process to obtain the objectove pesticide. Finer particle size and higher cation exchange capability of the zeolite give higher effect. Addition of 10wt% of zeolite having an ion exchange capability of 100mg/g is effective to water ranging from pure water to the one having a hardness of 30°H.
