Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide both a smoke exhausting function and a fire preventing function, by using a partition wall to divide the interior of a cylinder and by installing in one chamber a piston thrusted by a spring, and by installing in another chamber another piston thrusted by a spring and engaged with a piston rod.
CONSTITUTION: The interior of a cylinder 1 is divided by a partition wall 2. A piston 3 thrusted by a spring 4 is provided in one cylinder part 7. Another piston 8 thrusted by a spring 9 and engaged with a piston rod 3a is provided in another cylinder part 12. When compressed air is discharged from the first cylinder part 5, the piston rod 3a is moved rightward to open a smoke exhaust duct. When compressed air is discharged from the first cylinder part 5 and the second cylinder part 10, the piston rod 3a is moved leftward to close the smoke exhaust duct. A smoke exhausting function and a fire preventing function are thus provided.
