Abstract

CONSTITUTION: CaO is used as main component of the refining agnet, and B2O3 and one or more kinds of CaCl, KCl, NaCl, and further MgO, SiO2, Al2O3, Fe oxide are added to these, so that B2O3, CaCl2, NaCl, KCl, etc. are fused and solidified on the surfaces of the CaO particles which are the main agnet. The composition is 70W90 CaO in wt.%, 2W5 B2O3, 8W25 CaCl2, NaCl, ≤5 MgO, SiO2. With this agnet, acetylene produced slag is used as the CaO source, colemanite ore as the B2O3 source, serpenite, silica rock, bauxite, etc. are sued as the oxide source for MgO, SiO2, etc. and industrial CaCl, NaCl, etc. are added to these, and the mixture is calcined by a rotary kiln etc.
