Abstract

PURPOSE: To circulate hot air uniformly and to thereby eliminate unevenness in heating a substance to be heated in a high-frequency heating oven, by employing an arrangement capable of inverting the direction of rotation of a hot-wind circulating fan.
CONSTITUTION: An air port is formed in the back wall of a heating chamber 1 in an oven including a magnetron 2, waveguide 3 and infrared-ray grill heater 4. Adjacently of the air port, there is disposed a hot-wind producing means consisting of a heater 11 and a circulating fan 9. Here, the circulating fan 9 is designed such that it can be rotated in both of clockwise and counterclockwise directions and the turning direction of the circulating fan 9 is inverted periodically at predetermined intervals.
