Abstract

PURPOSE: To shorten the access time, by using the data stored in a sense amplifier directly for the reading data in case the reading is required furthermore during an access of the backup memory part.
CONSTITUTION: Each bit of address is applied to each part from the address transfer circuit 109. The 16 pages are read into the same block of the sense amplifier 102, and the gate circuit 108 transfers only one of 16 pages to the buffer memory array 104. When the writing is carried out, the buffer memory is energized. Then the writing data is supplied to the specified amplifier 102 via the gate circuit 108.
