Abstract

PURPOSE:To sharply reduce the stress generated at the shift lever mechanism of the subject motor by a method wherein a reduction gear mechanism is installed on the output shaft of a clutch and a pinion shaft is loosely fit in the interior space of a driven-side gear and a gear shaft. CONSTITUTION:The pinion shaft 76 is coupled to the rolled helical spline 76a provided on an intermediate shaft 69 and the helical spline 77a arranged on the interior of the sleeve 77 which will be fixed to a spur gear 75. The sleeve 77 supports a shaft 76 with a sleeve bearing 78 fitted on its inside, the sleeve 77 is supported by a sleeve bearing 82 which will be fitted to the inside of an intermediate bracket 81 to be fitted and fixed to a front fracket with a screw 79, and it is constructed in such a manner that only the shaft 76 and the pinion to be fitted to this shaft will be advanced. As a result, the stress which will be generated at the shift lever structure when the motor is started can be reduced sharply.
