Abstract
PURPOSE:To shorten a molding cycle as well as to save using energy by using two sets of the foaming molding molds comprising one set of a heating molds and other set of a cooling molds against a central rotary portion as a symmetrical position. CONSTITUTION:The heating molds 10, 20 are clamped to heat and mold foamable thermoplastic resin particles filled in a mold cavity formed therebetween and the cooling molds 30, 40 are clamped to cool the foamed molded product a and, thereafter, the heating molds 10, 20 and the cooling molds 30, 40 are opened to demold the foamed molded product a. By a rotary portion 50, the heating mold 20 and the cooling mold 40 are turned 180 deg. to oppose the foamed molded product a to the cooling mold 30 and, thereafter, the foamed molded product a is transferred to a side of the cooling mold 30 to open the mold. Subsequently, by the rotary portion 50, one heating mold 20 and the cooling mold 40 are turned 180 deg. again to return the heating molds 10, 20 and the cooling molds 30, 40 to respective set and again clamped respectively.
