Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a stable flame by a method wherein a cylindrical compound body is provided within an evaporating chamber to promote mixing of the evaporated gas and air in the evaporating chamber.
CONSTITUTION: At an inner portion of a compact evaporating chamber 12, there is provided a compound body 22 consisting of a cylindrical portion having an opening portion L at a side portion thereof, a bottom surface 24 secured to a bottom portion of the cylindrical portion and an upper surface portion formed with a bore 23. The first step mixing of microparticles of fuel and air is effected by the bottom surface 24 of the compound body 22 and they are guided to a side wall of the evaporating chamber 12 to generate evaporated gas here. The evaporated gas and the air are risen through a clearance between the side wall of the evaporating chamber 12 and the bottom surface 24 and are introduced into the cylindrical portion through the opening L of the compound body 22. The second step mixing is effected here and they are mixed uniformly on the way from the upper bore 23 to flame ports on a burner head 19. Therefore, the mixing is promoted sufficiently without making the evaporating chamber 12 so big and a stable combustion may be obtained at all of the flame ports on the burner head 19.
