Abstract
PURPOSE: To check the generation of carbon and tar by heated vaporization of a liquid fuel while it flows down through a heating passage in a vaporizer with an outflow port arranged on the bottom thereof at the down stream end of the passage which is graded down to the downstream and from the upstream end.
CONSTITUTION: A vaporizer is composed of an inner cylinder 3 and an outer cylinder 4 through which a heater 2 is inserted. A heating passage 5 formed in a clearance between both the inner and outer cylinders 3 and 4 is graded down to the downstream from the upstream and an inflow port 6 and an outflow port 7 are formed, while an obstacle 11 is provided in the course thereof. A coil 19 inserted into a valve rod 15 to support is so fitted into a nozzle pipe 8 that a fuel is mixed into a vaporized fuel from a nozzle 9 and spurted when it drops down unvaporized to the nozzle pipe 8 from the outflowport 7. This allows the liquid flow to be vaporized by heat as flowing down through the heating passage 5 thereby preventing the generation of carbon and tar due to prolonged retention under heat.
