Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate the fitting of a blow-off port and reduce the number of assembling steps by arranging the second box member loosely inserting in a vertically movable manner into the first box member mounted on the lower face of an air conditioner, and a blow-off port at the lower face of the above second box member.
CONSTITUTION: A duct 13 having opening ports at the upper and lower parts and flanges at the full peripheral edge, is contacted with and fastened by screws with the lower face of a main body 1 of an air conditioner. A duct 14 is fastened to the duct 13 through a long hole (not shown) by means of thumbscrews 15 in a longitudinally movable manner. A blow-off port 6 is contacted with and fastened by screws to the lower face of the duct 14 through a long hole in a manner movable within a horizontal plane, and an electric parts box 16 is arranged at the lower face of the main body 1 to divide a suction port from the blow-off port 6, and air within the room sucked up from the direction of arrow A is blown off from the direction of arrow B. Accordingly, the position regulation at the time of offset between the blow-off port 6 and the ceiling hole of the ceiling plate, and unaligning of upper and lower positions becomes easy.
