Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate an easy production of a floating head obtained by giving a slider working to the whole substrate, by disposing in a body both the magnetic substrate core which is positioned at the center of a coil and the main pole piece opposing to the magnetic substrate core. CONSTITUTION:The insulated glass substrate 10-1 containing the main pole piece 5 is adhered to the insulated glass substrate 10-2 via the adhesion layer 11, and thus forming the main pole piece coil block 7. The thin-film coil 6 of plane spiral form is formed on the ferromagnetic substance substrate 13, and the magnetic core 14 is formed at the center of the coil 6 to form the coil block 8. The blocks 7 and 8 are adhered together by the adhesion layer 12, and the whole part including the substrate is formed into a slider shape. In such way, a floating vertical magentic recording/reproducing head can be obtained easily with merits of both the auxiliary pole piece system and the main pole piece exciting system.
