Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the control sensitivity constant to the control signal, by the gain control with the same control signal, through a series connection of two sets of differential transistor pairs. CONSTITUTION:After the signal S1 input from the base of a transistor (TR)T11 is converted into a signal current at TRT11, it is divided according to the control signal VF and the reference bias VE for the DC potential, through the 1st differential transistor pair 31. One of the divided currents flows to a load resistor RL through the current division at the signal VF by the 2nd differential transistor pair 32 similarly. The signal current flowing to the resistor RL becomes the output signal of gain control. Thus, by connecting two sets of differential TRs 31, 32 in series and performing the gain control with the same control signal at the same time, the control sensitivity to the control signal is made constant.
