Abstract

PURPOSE:To normalize two motors from asynchronous condition in a short time by a method wherein armature currents of the two motors are compared, and a driving voltage of one motor is corrected so as to have the current difference at zero. CONSTITUTION:When DC motors M1, M2 and current detectors 5, 6 come in an asynchronous condition and the velocities in V1>V2, armature currents are given then as I1>I2. A positive current difference signal Id having an amplitude proportional to the current differnce is generated as a result, which is added to a driving voltage DV2 by an adder 7c. A voltage impressed on the DC motor M2 increases consequently, the motor M2 is accelerated and the armature current I2 also increases, thus resulting V2=V1, I2=I1. Despite the asynchronous condition above, a load on one motor becomes grater than that on the other motor to give a difference in currents I1, I2, the one motor is accelerated or decelerated to V1=V2, I1=I2, and thus the two motors can be synchronized.
