Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a low cost ram which can perfectly eliminate a fluid leak by a method wherein in a space between the inner face of a cylinder and the end face of a piston inserted freely to slide into the cylinder, an inside bag having a sealing constitution and freely expandably is inserted.
CONSTITUTION: A cylinder 1 is formed with a cylinder part 1a and an end plate part 1b. In order to constitute a ram, an inside bag 3 made of a synthetic rubber having a sealing constitution and an expansion quality is inserted into a prolate spheroid shaped space formed with the inner face of the cylinder part 1, a curved concave inner face of the end plate part 1b and a curved concave end face of a piston 2. And further, an opening end part of a mouthpiece 4 at the inside bag side 3 is bonded or welded to the inside bag 3 to be made into a body and the other opening end part is projected from the end plate 1b to the outside to be made into a pipe coupling structure. A pressure fluid is supplied thru this mouthpiece 4 into the inside bag 3 to expand the inside bag 3 and to make the piston protrude to the external direction.
