Abstract

PURPOSE:To promote the economical efficiency of a car air-conditioner by constructing a heater unit of a temperature-regulating casing and an air-distributing casing detachable therefore for changing only the air-distributing casing for a car type different in the blow-off position of the air of a proper temperature. CONSTITUTION:This heater unit H is constructed of a temperature-regulating casing 11 provided with a coil-air entrance 10 connected to the exit side of an unillustrated cooling unit or heater duct and an air-distributing casing 13 to distribute and blow off the air of a proper temperature issued from the delivery port 12 of this casing 11 into a car room. The temperature-regulating casing 11 is provided with a coil-air passage 16 to pass the cool air that has bypassed a heater core 1 by an air- mix door 2, a warm-air passage 18 to pass the warm air that has passed through the heater core 1, and a mix chamber 19. The air-distributing casing 13 is constructed of blow-off ports 25-28, and 30 respectively from a defroster, a ventilator, a heater and rear heater, and a side vent.
