CONSTITUTION: When vehicle doors are individually opened and closed by the selection of passengers, a simultaneous-individual selection switch 3 is switched over to the individual side 3a on the side of a carman's cab. Then, a contact of a relay 21 is on, and when an alighting switch 4 for a desired door is pushed by a passenger, a stop-at-next-station indicator lamp and a signal bell are operated in the carman's cab, and a door-open indicator lamp 13 is on. Subsequently, when a door switch 2 is turned to the open-side 2b, alighting indicator lamps 11 and 12 are on, and a time-delay 25 is self-maintained to excite a relay 22. Thus, a door solenoid valve 17 is opened, and the door starts to open. At this stage, when any obstacles are detected near the door by a photoelectric switch 8, the door cannot be opened.
