Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent accidents by providing monitoring cameras interlocked with a left-turn indicator and speed change gear at left front and rear portions of a large- sized vehicle respectively and monitoring images projected by these cameras on a monitor TV set provided in a cab. CONSTITUTION:A monitor TV set 3 is provided at the side of a cab 2 of a large- sized vehicle 1 where a driver can monitor said TV set, while a left side monitoring camera 4 and rear monitoring camera 5 are provided respectively at the left front and rear portions of the vehicle 1. The respective cameras 4, 5 are connected to the monitor TV set 3. When gears are set to ''back'', movable terminals of switches 9 are respectively connected to fixed contacts 9-2, 9-4 to activate the rear monitoring camera 5 for projecting image of the rear of the vehicle on the monitor TV set 3. Also when the left-turn indicator is activated, movable contacts of switches 10 are connected to fixed contacts 10-1, 10-3 to activate the left side monitoring camera 4 for monitoring the left front side of the vehicle on the monitor TV set 3.
