Abstract
PURPOSE: To make easy to form into an integrated circuit by charging and discharging a capacitor with the inverted and amplified output of a repetitive pulse obtained from a watch circuit and checking a voltage of the cell if the charged voltage of the capacitor is above a required value.
CONSTITUTION: A repetitive pulse obtained from a frequency dividing circuit 14 is inverted and amplified by an inverter 28, and by the output, a capacitor 30 is charged and discharged. When a cell voltage is high, the capacitor 30 supplies a sufficient signal to a discriminating circuit 32 to make its Q-output give an "H" level signal C and a display circuit 22 displays "Cell life lasting". When a cell voltage is low, the charged voltage of the capacitor 30 also drops and the discriminating circuit 32 inverts its Q-output to "L" when a clock signal A is applied, so that "Cell life out" is displayed by the dispaly circuit 22.
