Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent idling in a reciprocating engine without a con-rod by providing a reversion-preventing cam to an output shaft picking up the rotation of an eccentric shaft from reciprocation, and regulating this cam through projections of a piston. CONSTITUTION:When compressed fuel is ignited and exploded in a cylinder 12, rotating body 20 is rotated anticlockwise to push down a piston 2. As an eccentric ring 31 is rotated clockwise in an eccentric hole 21 of rotating body 20, rotating body 20 is rotated being coupled with the eccentric ring 31, that is, to give a possibility of idling. To avoid this possibility, an output shaft 30 is equipped with a reversion-preventing cam 35, and projections 36 and 37 are respectively provided on the bottom faces of pistons 1 and 2, in order to regulate this reversion-preventing cam 35. Consequently, when a piston 10 starts to go down, the periphery of the cam 35 is fitted to projections 36 and 37 to rotate the eccentric ring 31 clockwise, and the piston body 10 is pushed down. Then, rotating body 20 is prevented from clockwise rotation, and continues to be rotated anticlockwise.
