Abstract
PURPOSE: To release alarm sounds efficiently at a maximum sound volume by continuously generating plural kinds of frequency signals, and applying these, kind by kind, in predetermined order, to plural kinds of piezoelectric buzzers of different resonance frequencies.
CONSTITUTION: When the coincidence signal with an alarm time is outputted from the instruction decoder 7 in an LSI1 of a small electronic type computer or the like, a flip-flop 11 is set and holds a set state for a fixed time to drive a frequency signal generating part 12, which generates two kinds of frequency signals f1, f2 alternately continuously and applies these to a piezoelectric buzzer 13, thereby releasing an alarm sound. Therefore, f1 is agreed with the resonance frequency of the piezoelectric buzzer used for a certain model of computer, and f2 is agreed with that of other model, by which the sound of maximum sound volume and the sound of a small volume may be released alternately even if the device is used for both models, and the system of good efficiency is obtained.
