Abstract

PURPOSE:To constitute a multifunctional office automation device cheaply, by using the light source and the lens of the electrophotographic process mechanism commonly. CONSTITUTION:The light of laser light source 1 is focused onto photoreceptor drum 7 through modulator 2 and photo scanner 4. This focused image is transferred to ordinary paper 22 through transfer equipment 9. The light from light source 13 is reflected by original 21 and is focused onto drum 7 through lens 15. The laser light reflected by light path converter 6 is focused onto endless photoreceptor belt 16 and is converted to a visible image by developer 18. The laser light irradiated to orignal 21 through converter 6 is read out by photodetector 19, and this signal is used as a facsimile signal. Consequently, since the light source, the lens, and so on are used commonly, the device is constituted cheaply and compactly.
