Abstract

PURPOSE: To make equal the pressure of heated water from each outlet by a method wherein a valve and the liner of the guide which affects the valve is formed with ceramic material in order to improve response to the alteration of the pressure balance.
CONSTITUTION: A valve 17 is inserted in such a way that the valve can slide in an axial direction within a liner 8 cylindrically formed with both ends being opened, using the liner as a guide, and a hot water valve port 12, water valve port 14 together with a hot water valve (a) and water valve (b) are formed. Due to the sliding action of the valve body proper 17, one end of the body works to open the valve opening on the corresponding side when the other moves to close the valve opening on the corresponding side. The liner 8 and the valve body proper 17 are formed with ceramic material, and the sliding portions of them touching each other are so flat that sufficient water-tightness can be maintained. Hot water and water each are supplied from outlets 1, 2 through a hot water passage (c) and water passage (d) separately, but hot water and water pressures are balanced by changing the degree of openings of the hot water valve (a) and water valve (b).
