Abstract
PURPOSE:To miniaturize a polarization coupler by building a received wave signal amplifier in a passive reflector provided in a waveguide for polarizing a received wave. CONSTITUTION:In passive reflector 11 provided in circular waveguide 10 for polarizing a received wave, a received wave amplifier is incorporated. Namely, passing reflector 11 is formed two metallic plates 11a and 11b in a box shape and in it, amplifier 12 is incorporated. Amplifier 12, obtained by forming input terminal 14, transmitted wave eliminating filter 15, circulator 16, dummy load 17, FET18, and output terminal 19 on substrate 13, should be extremely thin. Passive reflector 11 is provided with received wave coupling rod 20 at the reflective surface side, with power terminal 21 and received wave signal output terminal 22 at the bottom surface side, and with magnet 23 for the circulator at the flank side. Received wave coupling rod 20 and transmitted wave coupling rod 25 are activated through magnetic coupling in waveguide 10.
