Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain an anti-fogging agent which is excellent in anti-fogging effect and wiping-out property from a specific surfactant based on a phosphate.
CONSTITUTION: An anti-fogging agent contains one or more of phosphate-based surfactants represented by formulas I, II, and III(where R is an 8C or higher hydrocarbon group, (n) is <6, R' and R" are each an 8C or higher hydrocarbon group, R1, R2, and R3 are, each an 8C or higher hydrocarbon group, and n1+n2+n3 is <6). Said phosphate-based surfactants can be used in aqueous solutions after being made oil-soluble and then bein mixed with other surfactants, alcohols, alkanolamines, glycol ethers,etc. Forthermore, to said phosphate-based surfactants are added a water-soluble silicone oil, e.g., polyether-modified methylpolysiloxane or methylpolysiloxane containing an organic acid or base in order to raise the wiping- out property of the agent.
