CONSTITUTION:The feeding quantity Y1 of the heat-sensitive paper D is set to be 1/2 or less than the length L2 of the arrangement of the heating bodies B1-B7 of a thermal head C, while the printing positions of the subsequent heating bodies B1-B3 are set to be located just in the middle of the preceding printing positions. To the heating bodies B1-B4 are given the same informations with the picture elements which are given to the heating bodies B4-B7 one scanning before, and simultaneously to the heating bodies B5-B7 are inputted new informations of picture elements, whereby the main scanning is performed.
