Abstract

PURPOSE: To assemble a hot water feeder with a heater and provide a compact assembly thereof under a forced combustion in it by a method wherein some restrictors are arranged at the discharge part of the heat exchanger at the hot water feeding part and the heating part of the double boiler, double water feeding type hot water heater.
CONSTITUTION: In a heatng operation, a combustion fan 27 is rotated the pilot burner 15 is ignited with an ignition means 16, thereafter the solenoid valves 12, 13 are opened simultaneously with a rotation of the pump 8, and the main burner 14 is combustioned. Thereby, the feeding water is heated in the heat exchanger 5. At this time, a discharge volume is restricted by the restrictors 24, and excessive amount of air may not be applied in a combustion, so that a high thermal efficiency may be provided. On the other hand, in case of feeding hot water, a heating pilot burner 15 is ignited, the solenoid valve 17 is opened under an operation of the hydraulic responsive valve 18, and the pilot burner 19 is ignited through a fire transmittance plate 20. Thereafter, the solenoid valves 21, 22 are opened and the main burner 23 is ignited. At this time, a volume of discharged gas is restricted by the restrictor 25.
