Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the operating characteristic of a shutter by enabling two opening and closing operations of shutter blades which also serve as a diaphragm to be accomplished by one time of shutter charging operation.
CONSTITUTION: When a shutter release button is depressed, a photometric circuit operates to measure the subject luminance and store this. A moving reflection mirror starts kicking up. Next, a motor M begins to run forward in a clockwise direction. This causes a charging-diaphragm aperture control ring 26 to begin to turn counterclockwise and in follow up to said ring 26, the 1st operating ring 23 also turns counterclockwise. Then, the relative position of the 1st operating ring 23 and the 2nd operating ring 25 displaces and therefore shutter blades 21 which also serve as a diaphragm are gradually closed of aperture. When the ring 23 starts operating, the relative position of the rings 23 and 25 changes and this time, the shutter blades 21 which also serve as a diaphragm are successively opened. These closing and opening operations of the shutter blades 21 are carried out once more.
