Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable continuous production of a long-sized three-layer construction by covering a foaming material with a nonfoaming resin on the circumference thereof extruded from an annular extrusion port surrounding thereof after it is discharged from a rotatable die and wrapped on a core material being moved straight. CONSTITUTION:An outer die 1 is driven rotatively with a bevel gear 4 with the axis of a core material 5 as the rotary axis while a melted foaming thermoplastic resin 2 is fed to a resin path 9 via a resin feed pipe 10 and discharged into the air through a discharge port 3 to form a foaming material 15. The foaming material 15 is wrapped on the outer surface of the material 5 being moved straight in the direction A. Further, a nonfoaming resin 18 is extruded from an extrusion die 17 with an annular extrusion port 19 surrounding the core material, located behind the extruder and wrapped on the foamed body 15.
