Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the attachment of dust to the surface of an elastic body by applying a film forming agent made of a benzine soluble polyorganosiloxane resin dissolved in a specified solvent.
CONSTITUTION: A benzine soluble polyorganosiloxane resin A given by the formula I is dissolved in a solvent B given by the formula II while mixed with 5W75wt% of volatile organic silicon compound with the boiling point 70W250°C and 95W 25wt% of a hydrocarbonate based solvent to make a film forming agent. The agent thus formed is applied to the surface of a room temperature setting silicon elastic body and dried to solidify. Typical of the room temperature setting silicon elastic body is a silicon sealing material to be used for solidifying a glass to a sash. But this is susceptible to the attachment of dust due to adhesivity slightly left after hardened.
