Abstract
PURPOSE:To construct an engine with minimized friction and impact by providing a rotor which rotates eccentrically in the casing and a vane mechanism which is assembled in the rotor and whose rotating center coincides with the center of the casing. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 2, which rotates eccentrically in a casing 1, is provided with vane guide slots 7 equally spaced and radially placed from the center of the rotor 2. A vane 4 is installed in each slot. Each vane is bent at the midpoint thereof to form a curved part 23. A vane holding ring 11 is rotatably installed in a stationary ring 13 at the center of the casing. The gas supplied by a fan through an air port 3, is compressed as the rotor continues to revolve, ignited at the upper dead center 8 to drive the rotor 2 and discharged through an exhaust port 10 at the bottom dead center (BDC) 9.
