Abstract
PURPOSE:To prepare a composition for oral cavity application, having remarkably improved foamability and excellent stability, feeling to the mouth, and juice effect, and useful as a raw material of tooth paste, etc., by using a fatty acid ester of a sugar alcohol such as lactitol and an N-long-chain-acyl amino acid as main components. CONSTITUTION:A composition for oral cavity application, containing (A) a fatty acid ester or lactitol or a sugar alcohol of formula (n is 1-6) and (B) an N-long- chain-acyl amino acid or its salt. The excellent characteristics of the component (A) are fully exhibited in the composition. The composition has remarkably improved foamability, and excellent stability when compounded to a tooth paste, etc., feeling to the mouth, e.g. taste, flavor, etc., and juice effect. Preferable (B) component is glutamic acid N-substituted with a 8-20C acyl group, and the (A) component has pref. a 8-20C acyl group and an average degree of esterification of 0.5-3.0. The amounts of the components are, 1-50pts.wt. of (A) (0.1-5wt% of the whole composition) and 1-2pts.wt. of (B) (0.05-2wt% of the whole composition).
