Abstract

PURPOSE: To avoid damages caused by twisting of a shooting pipe and to assure a gunning operation, by arranging the shooting pipe thrustably in a receive pipe, and rotating and revolving the shooting pipe with the receive pipe as a unit.
CONSTITUTION: A gunning device is carried to an objective position. By an operation of a pendant switch 10, thrusting means 4, 4' are actuated to extend shooting pipes 3-1, 3-2. Rotating means 6 and elevating means 7 are then actuated to rotate the shooting pipes 3-1, 3-2 with a receive pipe 2 as a unit, to elevate the pipes 3-1, 3-2 with the receive pipe 2 as a unit, and to set up a spray nozzle 5 facing to a part to be repaired. In this position, refractory material is sprayed through a hose 8, the shooting pipes 3-1, 3-2 and the nozzle 5 onto the part to be repaired, by an operation of a water or air hose 9 which is selected as either in a dry or wet process by an operation of the switch 10. After the repairing work is finished, each pipe 3-1, 3-2 is received in the receive pipe 2.
