Abstract
PURPOSE: To make it possible to cover request range ability 40 of a flow rate sufficiently by making possible a flow-rate control range 0W100% in terms of time width by arranging two cross valves in the fluid passage of a control system for phase control over on-off operation.
CONSTITUTION: At the halfway points of fluid circuit control system passage 10, ducts 11 and 12 with shunt point 13 and conflux point 14 are provided and at shunt point 13 and conflux point 14, cross valves 15, 15 are provided respectively. The injection time width can be controlled from zero to a continuous flow by bringing solenoids 18, 18 of those two cross valves 15, 15 under phase control. Namely, a small flow rate can be obtained by operating the cross valves 15, 15 with relative phase θ close to 20ms as shown in fig. 2A and a larger flow rate can be obtained as relative phase θ is made closer to zero as shown in fig. 2B. Shifting θ up to its limit makes it possible to adjust the amount of injection 0W100%. Therefore, request range ability 40 of an engine can sufficiently be covered.
