Abstract

PURPOSE: To separate a hemoglobin combined with a glucose in a blood accurately with a liquid chromatography by using special grain synthetic high moleculars as a filler (Solid phase) together with a liquid elute having a certain pH value.
CONSTITUTION: When a monomer (such as an ethylene glycol dimethacrylate) having a nondissociation hydrophilic group (such as alcoholic hydroxyl group, amide group etc.) and a hydrophobic group (such as alkyl group, phenyl group etc.) is subjected to a suspension polymerization with water and is used as a filler of a liquid chromatography wherein a polyethylene glycol and a water are utilized as a sample and an elute respectively, said monomer forms grain high moleculars which lengthen the elution time of the sample with the raise of the temperature. Then, the hemoglobin combined with glucose is subjected to a quantitative separation using said grain high moleculars as a solid phase and the water having pH3W9 (for instance phosphoric acid-sodium phosphate buffer solution) as an elute.
