Abstract

PURPOSE: A machine oil emulsion that includes a nonionic surfactant of polyoxyalkylene alkyl (and/or alkyl phenyl) ether as an emusifier, thus keeping emulsified state stably with no affection of lime sulfur mixture for a long time.
CONSTITUTION: Machnine oil is combined with a nonionic surfactant of polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether, preferably with an alkyl of 12W18 carbon atoms, and/or polyoxyalkylene alkylphenol, preferably with an alkyl of 8W9 carbon atoms as an emulsifier by an amount of 1/3W1/10 weight of the machine oil. The product including lime sulfur mixture separates into two phases, however, agitation disperses it uniformly. An emulsion containing only machine oil is mixed with a lime sulfur mixture, when used, or an emulsion containing both of them is directly diluted to prepare a spraying solution and the solution keeps for a long time.
