Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate the discharging of mud by mounting a pair of right and left mud tanks in a barge through a roller in such a manner as to move respectively to the right and left by oil pressure.
CONSTITUTION: A pair of right and left mud tanks 1 and 1 are placed on a bearing surface 2 at the bottom in a barge through a roller 3. A mud tank driving mechanism such as a hydraulic cylinder 4 is provided so that the mud tanks 11 moved along the bearing surface 1 until they gets in contact with the central plane of a hull. At the moment of the contact, the mud tanks 1 and 1 adhere to each other on the rim sections thereof facing each other thereby closing a mud discharging port 6 on the bottom of the barge. Mud dredged or the like in the mud tanks 1 and 1 is discharged through the mud discharging port 6 by moving the mud tank 1 and 1 to the right and left with the hydraulic cylinder 4.
