Abstract

PURPOSE: The titled fibers, obtained from a polyhexamethylene terephthalate or polyhexamethylene butylene terephthalate copolymeric polyester having a copolymeric composition and physical properties in specific ranges, bondable at a low temperature, and having good properties.
CONSTITUTION: Fibers consisting of terephthalic acid (TA), 1,6-hexanediol (HD) 1,4-butanediol (BD) and a saturated straight chain aliphatic dicarboxylic acid (A) expressed by formula VIII, an aromatic copolymerization component (B) other than (TA), an aliphatic and/or alicyclic copolymerization component (C) other than (HD), (BD) and (A), and satisfying formulasIWVII simultaneously. Formula V shows wt% of the component (C) based on the formed copolymeric polyester in case the raw material for the component (C) is [COOH] and/or [OH] type, and the other formulas show the copolymerization mol% based on the total acid components. The heat of crystal melting is ≥2.0cal/g, and the shortest time of crystallization is within 2.5min. The shear strength of a bonded PET film is ≥6kg/cm2.
